Worcester, Mass. - Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr. and head men's lacrosse coach Adam Pascal announced this week the Crusaders' schedule for the 2006 season, which is set to begin on February 25, when Holy Cross hosts Fairfield.
On March 4, Holy Cross plays its first road game at Hartford. The Crusaders then travel to Durham, N.C., to take on 2005 NCAA Championship runner-up Duke on March 7, at 3:00 p.m.
Holy Cross then heads back home to Hart Turf Field for three games, Vermont (Mar. 11), Patriot League opener Bucknell (Mar. 18) and Harvard (Mar. 21). The Crusaders continue conference play with an away game against Navy on March 26 and then return home against Siena on March 28.
The Crusaders then play four out of six games against Patriot League competition in April with home games versus Colgate (Apr. 1), Lafayette (Apr. 8), a non-conference home game with Bellarmine (Apr. 11), and road conference games with Lehigh (Apr. 15) and Army (Apr. 18), before playing Sacred Heart at home on April 26.
The Patriot League Tournament is slated for April 28 and April 30, at a site to be determined. The Crusaders play a non-conference game at Dartmouth on May 2, at 6:00 p.m.
