WORCESTER, Mass. - Eight members of the Holy Cross men's lacrosse team have been selected to the 2007 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, including seniors Tanner Fogarty (McMurray, Pa.), Kyle Gwyn-Williams (Shrewsbury, N.J.), Paul LeBlanc (Lexington, Mass.) and David Vafek (Michalovce, Slovakia).
The other members of the team are sophomore Rich Durand (Oradell, N.J.), sophomore Jimmy Harrison (East Williston, N.Y.), freshman Mike Nagle (Timonium, Md.) and freshman Edison Parzanese (Edgartown, Mass.).
A total of 81 student-athletes from men's lacrosse teams around the league were named to the honor roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's six winter or 10 spring championship sports.
