HC Men's Lacrosse Places Nine On Academic Honor Roll

WORCESTER, Mass. - Nine members of the Holy Cross men's lacrosse team have been selected to the 2008 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office, including freshman Conor McKenna (Summit, N.J.) who led the Crusaders with a 3.93 grade-point average in the spring semester.

The other members of the team to be named to the honor roll were junior Rich Durand (Oradell, N.J.); sophomores Tim Barrar (West Chester, Pa.), Brendan Candon (Long Beach, N.Y.), Mike Nagle (Timonium, Md.), Edison Parzanese (Edgartown, Mass.) and John Rapport (Wyckoff, N.J.); and freshmen Brandon DeLisio (Woodstock, N.Y.) and Eamon Troy (Summit, N.J.).

A total of 88 student-athletes from men's lacrosse teams around the league were named to the honor roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the 16 League-sponsored winter or spring championship sports.
