WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross head men's lacrosse coach Adam Pascal has been named the 2007 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Coach of the Year. Pascal, who just concluded his third season at Holy Cross, coached the Crusaders to a 6-8 record marking the best overall record since 1988. Holy Cross improved during the season and came on strong as it won four of its last six games.
On April 24, 2006, Pascal was also honored as one of 50 "Mentors that Matter" in a ceremony at the Great Hall of the Massachusetts State House in Boston. Pascal was honored for his role as a Big Brother, and for encouraging the entire men's lacrosse team to be Big Brothers at Canterbury School in Worcester.
