WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross freshman Colin McGeehin (Newtown Square, Pa.) has been named the Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week for the second time this season. He scored six goals and had two assists for eight points in two contests, including his first two collegiate game-winners.
McGeehin scored two goals including the double overtime game-winner in the 12-11 win at Vermont on April 7, while he had a career-best four goals and a career-best six points in the 9-4 win over Marist on April 11, as he also had two assists. He also scored the game-winner.
For the season his 20 goals and 26 points lead the team, while his six assists are tied for second.
The Crusaders return to action on April 14, when they play Lehigh in a Patriot League contest on Senior Day at 4:00 p.m.
