Fallon Named Patriot League Defensive Player Of The Week

Worcester, Mass. - Junior goalie Matt Fallon (Mount Kisco, N.Y.) was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the Crusaders' 11-5 victory over Lafayette last Saturday. The honor is the first weekly award for Holy Cross this season.

Fallon made 14 saves and compiled a .737 save percentage for his third win of the season against the Leopards. He also picked up two ground balls in the Crusaders first Patriot League victory since April 12, 2003. Overall, Fallon owns a 9.92 goals-against average and a .593 save percentage.

Holy Cross hosts Lehigh on Saturday, April 16 at the Hart Astroturf at 7 p.m.
