  • Following last week's bye, the Holy Cross men's lacrosse team returns to action this week when it hits the road to play two games. On March 3, the Crusaders will travel to Durham, N.C., to meet No. 13 Duke at 3:00 p.m., while on March 7, Holy Cross will open up Patriot League competition with a 3:00 p.m. contest at Colgate. Duke is 2-2 this season as it is 2-1 against teams on the Crusaders' schedule with wins over Bucknell and Colgate, and a loss to Harvard. Duke is coming off a loss to Maryland. Colgate is 1-3 overall. Colgate defeated Canisius, 15-11, then loss three-straight to nationally ranked teams on the road as it lost to then No. 5 Duke, 9-8, No. 6 North Carolina, 11-9, and No. 7 UMBC, 13-9.

  • Junior Edison Parzanese (Edgartown, Mass.) scored four goals and had three assists for seven points against Yale on Feb. 21. He leads the team in goals with five, assists with four and points with nine. Parzanese has recorded at least one point in 12 straight games and has 15 goals, 22 assists and 37 points during the streak dating back to March 8, 2008.

  • Freshman Colin McGeehin (Newtown Square, Pa.) has scored one goal in each of his first two collegiate games.
