Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Preseason Poll Released

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Holy Cross men's lacrosse team has been picked to finish seventh in the 2007 Patriot League preseason poll as voted on by head coaches and sports information directors from around the league. Navy was picked to finish first as it earned 12 of 14 first place votes and 72 total points. Colgate had two first place votes and 59 total points as it was picked to finish second, followed by Army (46 total points), Bucknell (43 total points), Lehigh (40 total points), Lafayette (20 total points) and Holy Cross (14 total points).

The Crusaders are set to kick off the 2007 season when they host Hartford at the Hart Turf Field on Tuesday, February 20, at 4:00 p.m. Holy Cross returns 23 letterwinners including six starters. The Crusaders also welcome 11 newcomers.
