Thomas Guadagnolo is in his first season as an assistant men's lacrosse coach at Holy Cross in 2012.
Guadagnolo was a four-year member (2008-2011) of the Syracuse men’s lacrosse team as the Orange won national championships in 2008 and 2009. As a senior captain in 2011, he started all 17 games on defense with 22 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers. Syracuse was third in the nation in scoring defense and also set a school record and led the nation in man-down defense efficiency. He scored his first collegiate goal making him the only close defender on the team to tally a point. Also as a senior he was named to the Big East All-Academic team. Guadagnolo played in 55 career contests with 28 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers. Most recently, he played for the Rochester Rattlers of Major League Lacrosse as he saw action in eight games with 10 ground balls.
Guadagnolo was a Public Heath major and graduated from Syracuse in 2011. A native of Jordan, N.Y., Guadagnolo was an All-American at Jordan-Elbridge H.S. where he scored 36 goals and had 22 assists in his career.
