- The Holy Cross men's lacrosse team returns to action when it travels to West Hartford, Conn., to play Hartford at Yousuf Al-Marzook Field at 1:00 p.m. The Hawks lost their season-opener at No. 8 Maryland by a 12-6 score on Feb. 18.
- Last season, Holy Cross fell to Hartford, 12-7, on Feb. 26 in Worcester. The Crusaders also lost to the Hawks in the 2010 season. The Crusaders had won three straight over the Hawks prior to the two recent losses. Holy Cross is 3-2 versus Hartford in the last five games.
- Last season, the Hawks won the America East title. Hartford is picked to repeat in the America East Preseason Poll. The Hawks went 11-7 last season and were ranked No. 19 in the nation. Hartford fell to Cornell in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in its first ever appearance in the tournament.
- Freshman Terry McKenna (Summit, N.J.) scored a goal in his collegiate debut in the contest versus St. John's. He also picked up two ground balls.
