  • The Holy Cross men's lacrosse team returns to action on Saturday, April 2, when it plays Patriot League opponent No. 18 Bucknell at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium at 3:00 p.m. The Bison, who play No. 20 Penn State on March 29, are 7-2 so far this season with a 2-0 record in the Patriot League as they are tied for first place with Army and Colgate who are also each 2-0. Bucknell defeated Canisius (17-2) and No. 20 Villanova (10-8), fell to No. 14 Penn (8-6), defeated Navy (12-11 2OT), Hobart (11-9), Hartford (7-6) and Lafayette (11-8), lost to Robert Morris (7-5) and defeated No. 16 Albany (11-9). Last season the Crusaders fell to Bucknell by an 11-2 score on April 3.
  • Sophomore James Kennedy (Summit, N.J.) leads the team with 16 points and a career-best eight assists, while he is second with eight goals. His 1.00 assists per game are tied for eighth in the Patriot League and are 59th nationally.
  • Sophomore John Hannan (Manhasset, N.Y.) ranks first on the team with a career-best 13 goals. He is second on the team with 14 points. He has recorded at least one point in all eight games.
  • Senior Douglas Broussard (Floral Park, N.Y.) leads the team with 31 ground balls. His 3.88 ground balls per game are ranked 55th nationally. He now has 168 career ground balls. He also leads the team with 14 caused turnovers as his 1.75 caused turnovers per game are 26th in the country.
