WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's lacrosse team had 12 student-athletes on the 2010 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office, including junior Conor McKenna (Summit, N.J.) who earned a perfect 4.0 grade-point average in the spring semester. He was just one of only eight student-athletes on the men's lacrosse Academic Honor Roll to have a 4.0 average or better. Also senior Edison Parzanese (Edgartown, Mass.) made the Academic Honor Roll for the fourth time.
The other members of the team to be named to the Academic Honor Roll were seniors Tim Barrar (West Chester, Pa.), John Rapport (Wyckoff, N.J.) and Chris Smirti (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.); juniors Brandon DeLisio (Woodstock, N.Y.), Matt Moran (West Henrietta, N.Y.) and Justin Rowley (Liverpool, N.Y.); sophomores Colin McGeehin (Newtown Square, Pa.) and Andrew Morici (Manhasset, N.Y.); and freshmen Ian Garrahy (East Greenwich, R.I.) and Kip Stillman (Guilderland, N.Y.).
A total of 108 student-athletes from men's lacrosse teams around the league were named to the honor roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll a winter or spring sport student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester.
