WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's lacrosse program held a very successful alumni game on Oct. 17 at the new Holy Cross Multi-Sport Field as more than 50 men's lacrosse alumni attended the event. There were alumni from the Class of 1973 to the Class of 2009. Also attending were current players and parents of former players. The game consisted of two 20 minute running clock halves as the White team defeated the Purple team by a 6-5 score. The game was followed by a tailgate hosted by the Crusader Lacrosse Club.
"It was a beautiful morning for the game and a great weekend for the men's lacrosse program," said coach Adam Pascal. "The amount of alumni that attended was very impressive. It was great for our current players to meet the alums and to see how much the alumni love and support the program. To have former players that played here over 30 years ago attend the event really showed their passion for the program. Also I really want to thank assistant coach and Holy Cross men's lacrosse alum Patrick Hart (Class of 2005) as he had a lot to do with making this event such a success. I also think it was a great opportunity for the alumni to see and play on the new field which we are so excited to have."
