Senior assistant captain Tony Coskren (Walpole, Mass.) was named Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 8 for his efforts over the weekend.
After not producing any goals last season, the defenseman netted three goals and added an assist over the weekend. Coskren put the Crusaders on the board at 13:24 in the third after American International held Holy Cross scoreless for two periods. The Crusaders went on to defeat the Yellow Jackets, 3-1, on Friday, Nov. 5 at the Olympia Ice Center. Coskren scored two more goals, including a power play goal, in the game against Bentley on Saturday, Nov. 6. He is now tied for first in the league with two other players in points (9), including three goals and six assists.
The Crusaders are idle this weekend. They next play on Tuesday, Nov. 16 against American International at 7:30 p.m. at the Hart Center .
