Adam Roy Named Crusader Of The Week

WORCESTER, Mass. - Freshman goaltender Adam Roy (Feeding Hills, Mass.) has been named the Crusader of the Week, for competition from November 26-December 2. Roy totaled 49 saves last week, while leading the Holy Cross men's ice hockey team to a win and a tie in a home-and-home series with Connecticut.

In Friday's 4-1 victory in Storrs, Roy made 22 saves while allowing just one goal. He then stopped 27 shots and allowed three goals in the 3-3 tie with the Huskies at the Hart Center.

In eight games played this season, Roy now has a 3-3-2 record with a .913 save percentage and a 2.82 goals against average.

The Crusaders (5-4-3 overall, 4-3-3 Atlantic Hockey) return to action on Tuesday, December 4, when they play host to Merrimack in an 7:00 p.m. game at the Hart Center.
