Martignetti Named Atlantic Hockey Rookie Of The Week

WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross freshman forward J.P. Martignetti (Winchester, Mass.) has been named the Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week, for his performance in the Crusaders season-opener against Niagara on October 13. He recorded his first two collegiate assists as he assisted on both of Holy Cross' goals in the 6-2 loss.

After one game, Martignetti leads Holy Cross in points and assists with two, while he is ranked second in the country in assists per game and tied for fifth in points per game. He is also tied for first in the nation in points per game by rookies.

The Crusaders return to action on Saturday, October 20, when they hit the road to play Providence at 7:00 p.m.
