HC Graduate Brady Named Head Coach At Assumption

WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross graduate Lance Brady has been named the head men's hockey coach at Assumption College. Last year, Brady was the associate head coach at Becker College. Prior to his time at Becker, he served as an assistant coach at Marlboro High School (2005-07).

In 1998-99, Brady was the network administrator/account executive for the Worcester IceCats, while he was a player/assistant coach for the Birmingham Bulls in 1997-98. From 1995-98, Brady was an executive member of the Professional Hockey Players Association and from 1990-96, he was a coach at Dynamic Skating. Brady played five seasons of hockey after college in the AHL, IHL and ECHL. In 1999, he was a member of the USA Hockey In-Line National Team that won the gold medal at the World Championships.

Brady graduated from Holy Cross in 1993. As a senior, he earned ECAC East second team all-star and New England Hockey Writers all-star honors.
