Former Crusader Andrew McKay Signs With Danbury Of The UHL

Worcester, Mass. - Former Holy Cross hockey player and captain Andrew McKay has signed a professional contract to play for the Danbury Trashers of the United Hockey League. McKay had 92 career points in 124 games at Holy Cross, with 38 goals and 54 assists.

As a senior captain he finished third on the team in assists with 18, while he was fourth in both goals with 10 and points with 28. McKay was also a major contributor as a junior when he was second on the team in assists with 20 and scored 13 goals for a total of 33 points as the Crusaders earned their first trip to the NCAA Tournament. McKay earned Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week honors twice as a junior, while he was named MAAC Rookie of the week twice as a freshman.

McKay graduated from Holy Cross with a degree in Economics.
