BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Former Holy Cross hockey player Dale Reinhardt has re-signed with the Bakersfield Condors. The Condors are the official ECHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks.
Last season, Reinhardt scored five goals and had two assists for seven points in just nine games as Bakersfield qualified for the Kelly Cup Playoffs. On March 28, he recorded his first professional hat trick which included a shorthanded goal.
"I'm really excited to come back," said Reinhardt. "The fans were unbelievable, the weather was unbelievable, and we really put a good run together at the end of the season. Now with the affiliation it's exciting for the program as well. I'm really looking forward to coming out there so we can get after it!"
"As everyone knows, Mr. Reinhardt is a great young hockey player who really helped our program out last season," said Bakersfield head coach Marty Raymond. "We are looking for even more from him this season; he's very smart and gritty and fits the mold of our type of player."
Reinhardt finished his Holy Cross career with 46 goals and 72 assists for 118 points in 138 career games. He is ranked seventh on the all-time Holy Cross Division I assists list, while he is eighth in points and goals. His 138 games are tied for fourth on the all-time games played list at the school. As a senior assistant captain in 2007-08, he was second on the team in assists with 18 and points with 26, while was fourth in goals with eight.
