Holy Cross Men's Hockey Announces 2008 Incoming Class

WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross head men's ice hockey coach Paul Pearl has announced the 2008 incoming class for the Crusaders. Nine freshmen will join the Holy Cross program for the 2008-2009 academic year. The players include five forwards and four defensemen. The forwards are Gianni Baldassari (Fort Wayne, Ind.), Andrew Cox (Lombardy, Ontario), Matt Gordon (Perth, Ontario), Luke Miller (Andover, Mass.) and Jay Silvia (Burlington, Mass.). The four defensemen are Kyle Atkins (Brockville, Ontario), Matt Clune (Toronto, Ontario), Mike Daly (South Burlington, Vt.) and Matthew Davis (Lancaster, N.Y.).
Also sophomore forward Jordan Cyr (Winnipeg, Manitoba) transferred from Rensselaer after the 2006-07 season and after attending Holy Cross in the 2007-08 academic year he is now eligible to compete.
