Holy Cross Men's Hockey Names 2009-2010 Captains

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's hockey program has named senior Ryan Driscoll (Dorchester, Mass.) and junior Everett Sheen (Lethbridge, Alberta) as co-captains for 2009-2010.

Driscoll, who was also a captain last season, has played 107 career games which are the most by any current Crusader. He has 19 goals and 34 assists for 53 career points. Last season, he set career best marks with seven goals and 12 assists for 19 points. Both his freshman and sophomore seasons he scored six goals and had 11 assist for 17 points.

Sheen, who earned Atlantic Hockey All-Rookie Team honors as a freshman as he led the team with 15 goals, had another outstanding season as a sophomore as he scored 11 goals, while he had a career-best 14 assists and a career-best 25 points. His 14 assists were ranked second on the team, while his 25 points were third and his 11 goals were tied for third. He has played every game during his career and already has 26 goals and 23 assists for 49 career points. He was a member of the Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team as a freshman.

The Crusaders return 21 players.
