Miami (Ohio) junior defenseman Alec Martinez carried the puck out from the left corner and backhanded a shot from the bottom of the left face-off circle that was stopped by BC freshman goalie John Muse. The rebound trickled to Miami (Ohio) sophomore forward Jarrod Palmer in front of the net, and he collected the puck and ripped a forehand shot into a wide-open net. The goal was Palmer's 10th of the season with assists going to Martinez (23) and junior defenseman Kevin Roeder (12).

Miami (Ohio) senior forward Nino Musitelli carried the puck into the BC offensive zone and fed a pass to junior forward Brian Kaufman on the right wing. Kaufman carried the puck on his backhand through the right circle towards the boards and sent a pass from the goal line towards the front of the net. Musitelli one-timed the pass past BC freshman goalie John Muse for his ninth goal of the season. Kaufman (25) picked up the lone assist on the give-and-go play.

The goal came on a delayed-penalty. The assists were credited to Gannon (15) and sophomore forward Matt Price (8).

Ferriero feathered a pass across to Smith, who beat Miami (Ohio) junior goalie Jeff Zatkoff with a shot from the left circle to put the Eagles in front, 3-2. The assist was Ferriero's 23rd of the season.

The puck came to Miami (Ohio) freshman forward Carter Camper near the bottom of the left circle. Camper sent a backhand pass to senior captain Ryan Jones in front of the net. Jones gathered the pass, turned, and fired a shot through the legs of BC freshman goalie John Muse to tie the game at three. Camper (26) was credited with the lone assist on Jones' 31st goal of the season.

BC senior forward skated down the right side of the ice into the Miami (Ohio) offensive zone and fired off a slapshot. Miami (Ohio) junior goalie Jeff Zatkoff made the save with his right pad and kicked the shot out into the slot. BC freshman Joe Whitney pounced on the rebound and, while falling to the ice, backhanded a shot under Zatkoff's blocker for his 10th goal of the season. Bertram (24) picked up the lone assist on the game-winner.
