Former Crusader Rissmiller To Play In AHL All-Star Game

WORCESTER, Mass. - Former Holy Cross hockey player and current Cleveland Barons' forward Patrick Rissmiller will participate in the 2006 Rbk Hockey AHL All-Star Classic at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg as a member of the PlanetUSA All-Star Team. Rissmiller will compete in the CCM AHL All-Star Skills Competition on January 31, while he will play in the game on February 1.

Rissmiller is in his fourth season with Cleveland and has just become the Barons' all-time points leader with 167 as he has 59 goals and 108 assists. He is also the all-time assists leader and is second in goals. Rissmiller is currently second on the team in scoring this season with 10 goals and 28 assists for 38 points. In the 2003-04 season, the Belmont, Mass. native played in four games for the San Jose Sharks.

As a four-year Crusader (1998-02), Rissmiller tallied 53 goals and 90 assists for 143 points in 131 games. He is 12th on the Holy Cross all-time points list, while he is tied for seventh in assists and ninth in game played. In his senior season, Rissmiller led the Crusaders in assists (20) and points (46).
