Jason Guerriero is in his third season as an assistant coach at Holy Cross in 2013-2014. He is a former Northeastern captain and first team All-American.
Guerriero is a 2005 graduate of Northeastern where he had an outstanding career with 49 goals and 98 assists for 147 points, including a career-best 17 goals and 31 assists for 48 points as a senior. He was the first ever Northeastern player to lead Hockey East in scoring. During his career, he earned numerous honors including first team All-America, first team All-Hockey East, Northeastern Male Athlete of the Year, Hockey East Len Ceglarski Sportsmanship Award, Hockey East 25th Anniversary All-Northeastern team, New England Hockey All-Star, Walter Brown Award runner-up and Northeastern Rookie of the Year.
Following graduation, Guerriero went on to have a six-year professional hockey career, including two seasons as a member of the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. He played 137 career games with the Admirals as he recorded 23 goals and 52 assists for 75 points. Guerriero also served as an assistant captain of the team during the 2007-2008 season. He also attended the training camps of the New York Islanders and the Nashville Predators. In addition, Guerriero also played for teams in Finland, Auastria, Switzerland, Germany and Denmark. In the 2010-2011 season, he led the Sonderjyske Hockey Club in Denmark in scoring and was named the Player of the Month three times.
Guerriero has spent time as a coach for the Mass. Satellite Hockey Training Program and Power Hockey. Guerriero earned his degree from Northeastern in Sociology.
Guerriero and his wife, Dr. Jennifer Guerriero, reside in South Boston.
