On Nov. 29 the Holy Cross men's hockey team defeated No. 7 Boston College at Conte Forum by a 5-4 score. The win over Boston College was the Crusaders' first victory over the Eagles as a varsity program as Boston College had won the previous eight meetings. BC is the sixth program that has won at least one NCAA national championship that the Crusaders have now defeated. The other five programs that have won at least one national title that Holy Cross has posted a win versus are Boston University, Maine, Minnesota, Rensselaer and Yale. The victory was Holy Cross' fifth win over a nationally ranked team in program history and the third versus a top-10 team. This was also the first ever win by an Atlantic Hockey team versus Boston College.
