DORDRECHT, Netherlands - Former Holy Cross men's hockey players and 2013 graduates Erik Vos (Carlisle, Ontario) and Evan Zych (Kilbride, Ontario) have signed with the Dordrecht Lions of the Netherlands' Eredivisie, the top level of Netherlands hockey.
Vos had seven goals and 11 assists for 18 points this season as the team captain. Vos scored the game-winner in the 4-3 win versus Bentley and the game-winner in the 5-4 overtime victory versus Penn State. He had 32 goals and 39 assists for 71 career points. His 141 games played are eighth all-time at the school.
Zych played in 91 career games at Holy Cross with one goal and 25 assists, leading all current defensemen in assists. As a senior, Zych played in 36 games for the Crusaders, scoring 17 points with 16 assists and one goal. During his senior season he spent much of the season ranked nationally in assists and assists per game rising as high as ninth in the nation's defensemen for points per game and 10th overall in assists per game. This past season Zych was featured on the 2013 Hoby Baker Award Fan Ballot.
