Brandon Nunn Plays First Pro Game With The ECHL’s Florida Everblades

ESTERO, Fla.­ Holy Cross senior forward Brandon Nunn (Fairport, N.Y.) has signed with the ECHL's Florida Everblades. The Everblades are the affiliate of the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning and Carolina Hurricanes, along with the AHL's Syracuse Crunch and Charlotte Checkers. Nunn made his professional debut with the team on March 23 in the team's 5-1 win over the Cincinnati Cyclones. The Everblades have four regular season games left on their schedule.

Nunn played in 109 career games at Holy Cross with 39 goals and 30 assists for 69 points. As a senior, he tied for third in D1 and fifth in program history for single season power play goals with 10. He also recorded 18 power play goals in his career moving him to ninth in D1 history. Nunn is a finalist for the 2013 Senior CLASS Award and is the founder of Power Play Points For Pink. He has been named the Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week once and the AT&T Crusader of the Week three times. He has also been named to the Atlantic Hockey All-Academic team in every season.
