Brandon Nunn Named Atlantic Hockey Player Of The Week

WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross junior forward Brandon Nunn (Fairport, N.Y.) has been named the Team Travel USA Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week for his performance in the two-game series at Niagara on Nov. 4-5. Nunn recorded one goal and three assists for four points. This is the first time in his career that he has earned this honor.

Nunn posted one assist in the 4-2 loss on Nov. 4, while he tallied one goal and two assists for three points in the 4-3 victory on Nov. 5. He scored the first goal of the game on Saturday, while one of his two assists was on the game-winner. This season, Nunn has two goals and four assists for six points. He is tied for second on the team in all three categories. For his career he has 10 goals and 17 assists for 27 points in 47 games.

The Crusaders (3-3-0, 2-2-0 Atlantic Hockey) return to action on Friday, Nov. 11 when they play Hockey East opponent UMass (2-4-2, 1-4-2 Hockey East) in Amherst, Mass., at the Mullins Center at 6:00 p.m. Holy Cross will then take on Sacred Heart (0-8-0, 0-4-0 Atlantic Hockey) on Saturday, Nov. 12 in Worcester at 7:00 p.m.
