WORCESTER, Mass.­ - Holy Cross junior forward Jordan Cyr (Winnipeg, Manitoba) was named the Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week for his three goals and one assist performance in the home-and-home series with Sacred Heart on Nov. 6-7.

On Friday, he posted one goal and one assist for two points as the Crusaders defeated the Pioneers, 4-2, while on Saturday he tallied two goals including a shorthanded goal as Holy Cross lost, 5-4. For the season, he leads the team with five goals and 11 points, while he is tied for first with six assists. For his collegiate career, he has 25 goals and 19 assists for 44 points.

The Crusaders (3-4-1, 3-2-1 Atlantic Hockey) return to action when they play Air Force (4-5-1, 4-1-1 Atlantic Hockey) on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 13-14 at the Hart Center. Holy Cross is in third place in the Atlantic Hockey standings with seven points, while the Falcons are first with nine points. The games will start at 7:00 p.m.
