WORCESTER, Mass.­ - Holy Cross freshman goalie Thomas Tysowsky (Amherst, N.Y.) was named the Atlantic Hockey Goalie of the Week for his performance at Merrimack on Oct. 16.

Tysowsky made his collegiate debut as he made 25 saves and allowed two goals for a .926 save percentage as the Crusaders fell to Merrimack, 3-1. He stopped six shots in the first period, 10 in the second and nine in the third. Tysowsky was a two-year member of the varsity hockey team at Milton Academy.

The Crusaders (0-2-0) return to action on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 24-25, when they play their Atlantic Hockey season-opening series versus Canisius (1-3-0) at the Buffalo State Sports Arena. Both games will start at 4:00 p.m.
