WORCESTER, Mass. - The College of the Holy Cross men's ice hockey team held its 13th annual Golf Outing on Thursday, June 25 at the Marlborough Country Club. Golfers took to the links for a shotgun start beginning at 10:00 a.m. in a scramble style event, followed by dinner and a raffle. The winning team consisted of Phil Gibson '95, Curt Bletzer '80, Michael Hallisey '82, and Hugh Curran '84 who shot a team score of 57. John Brunnell was our closest to the pin winner and Jeremy Tevald '99 took home the long drive award. Special thanks to Hallisey and his wife Denise for donating the lead sponsorship to this year's Golf Outing.
Head Coach Paul Pearl would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who played in the Golf Outing this year, donated items to the raffle and to the 23 hole sponsors. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Holy Cross men's ice hockey program through the Crusader Athletics Fund.
