WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr., and head coach Bob Molt have announced the 2006 fall schedule for the Crusader men's and women's golf teams. The men's team is scheduled to take part in five events this fall, while the women's squad will be in action three times.
The Crusader men open the season at the Blue Devil Invitational in New Britain, Conn., on Sept. 17-18. Holy Cross will then take part in the Dartmouth Invitational (Sept. 20-Oct. 1, Hanover, N.H.) and the Army Mulekicker Classic (Oct. 7-8, West Point, N.Y.). Following a dual meet with St. Anselm on Oct. 22 (Marshfield, Mass.), the Crusaders wrap up the fall portion of their schedule at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championship (Oct. 23-24, Brewster, Mass.).
The Holy Cross women's team begins its season at the Mount Holyoke Invitational in South Hadley, Mass., on Sept. 22-23. The Crusaders will then take part in the Williams Invitational in Williamstown, Mass., on Oct. 8. Holy Cross concludes the fall schedule at the Rutgers Invitational in Piscataway, N.J., on Oct. 13-14.
