Holy Cross Men's Golf Places 12th at Mulekicker Classic

WEST POINT, N.Y.- The Holy Cross men's golf team placed 12th out of 14 teams at Army's Mulekicker Fall Classic at the West Point Golf Course. Junior Joe Hajjar (Mahwah, N.J.) led the Crusaders as he tied for 13th place with a two-round score of 151. The Crusaders finished the two-day tournament with a total of 624, while Rutgers won the event with a 592.
Junior Matt Czarnecki (Greenwich, Conn.) had the second best score for Holy Cross with a 156, which was good enough for a tie for 33rd place. Senior Chris Gorczyca (Mashpee, Mass.) shot a 157 to tie for 38th, while sophomore Brian Flood (Forest Hills, N.Y.) tied for 48th with a 161 and freshman Anthony Ardito (Portland, Maine) tied for 55th with a 162.
The Crusaders will return to action on October 22, when they will take on Saint Anselm at the Marshfield Country Club in Marshfield, Mass.
