Men's Golf Places Seventh At Dartmouth Invitational

HANOVER, N.H. - The Holy Cross men's golf team finished in seventh place out of eight teams at the Dartmouth Invitational at the Hanover Country Club on Saturday and Sunday. Sophomore Tim McGovern (Oradell, N.J.) led the Crusaders with a two-day score of 154, which was good enough for 21st place. Holy Cross finished the tournament with a total score of 637, while Bryant won the event with a 591.

Senior co-captain Pat Brown (Silver Spring, Md.) had the second best score for the Crusaders with a 157 and a tie for 29th place. Freshman Andrew Wong (Wailuku, Hawaii) had a 165 and tied for 45th.

The Crusaders return to action on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 4-5, when they will compete at the MacDonald Cup at the Course at Yale in New Haven, Conn., at 7:30 a.m.
