HC Tied For Fifth After Day One Of PL Championship

BETHLEHEM, Pa. The Holy Cross men's golf team is tied for fifth place out of seven teams after two rounds of the three-round Patriot League Championship at the Saucon Valley Country Club. The Crusaders finished the day with a two-round score of 642, while Navy currently leads the event with a score of 618.

Defending Patriot League Individual Champion senior Matt Czarnecki (Greenwich, Conn.) and senior Ryan Kenny (Medford, Mass.) led Holy Cross as they each had a score of 158 and are tied for 10th place. Freshman James Widman (Middlebury, Conn.) is tied for 22nd with a two-round score of 164.

The competition concludes on Sunday.
