Holy Cross Men's Golf Finishes Seventh At Lou Flumere Invitational

STOW, Mass. - Freshman Colin Andrade (Assonet, Mass.) shot a seven-over par 79, to lead the Holy Cross men's golf team to a seventh-place finish at the Lou Flumere Invitational, played at the Stow Acres Country Club. The Crusaders had a team total of 326 strokes, to finish 12 strokes behing team champion Nichols (312). A second Holy Cross team taking part in the tournament placed 10th with 329 strokes.

Senior Matt Czarnecki (Greenwich, Conn.) came in 16th overall with an 80, while sophomore Anthony Ardito (Portland, Maine), senior Pat Rodenbush (Brockton, Mass.) and freshman Tim McGovern (Oradell, N.J.) all tied for 33rd with scores of 82.

The Crusaders return to action this Saturday and Sunday, April 5 and 6, when they take part in the Yale Spring Open at the Course at Yale in New Haven, Conn.
