Men's Golf Places Ninth At Ft. Lauderdale Classic

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Holy Cross men's golf team placed ninth out of nine teams at the Fort Lauderdale Collegiate Classic. Junior Matt Czarnecki (Greenwich, Conn.) led the Crusaders with a two-round score of 151. The Crusaders finished the two-day tournament with a total of 632, while Loyola won the event with a 573.

Junior Joe Hajjar (Mahwah, N.J.) had the second best score for Holy Cross with a 152 and junior Ryan Kenny (Medford, Mass.) had the third best score with a 158.

The Crusaders will return to action on Wednesday, April 4, when they will compete at the Lou Flumere Invitational in Stowe, Mass.
