Men’s Golf Picked Eighth In Patriot League Preseason Poll

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's golf team was picked to finish eighth in the 2014 Patriot League preseason poll, which is voted on by head coaches and sports information directors from around the league. The Patriot League Championship will be held on the West point Golf Course at the West Point Military Academy in West Point, NY.

After finishing third in the Patriot League last season, Army is picked first with 89 total points and seven first place votes. Loyola is picked second right behind Army with 88 total points and eight first place votes.  Third is Navy with 71 total points and Lehigh is fourth with 70 total points and one first place vote. Bucknell is picked fifth with 45 total votes, Lafayette sixth with 39, Colgate seventh with 31 and Holy Cross in eighth with 15 total points.

The Crusaders will compete at the Rhody Invitational on April, 5-6.
