Men's Golf Returns To Action At Rhody Invitational In Mid-April

Schedule: Saturday-Sunday, April 14-15, Rhody Invitational, Portsmouth, R.I.
- The Holy Cross men's golf team will take a three week break before returning to action in mid-April. The Squad will compete at the 2012 Rhody Invitational, held at the Green Valley Country Club in Portsmouth, R.I. Tee times will be announced at a later date.
- This is the first time in over seven seasons that the Crusaders have competed at the Rhody Invitational. Hosted by Rhode Island, this is the second time in two years that the Rams have hosted an invitational. Last year's event was rain-shortened and featured schools six regional schools.
- Senior Andrew Wong (Wailuku, Hawaii) posted a career-low round in last week's George Washington Invitational. The senior posted a round 71 in the final round of competition, besting his previous season-low of 73. Wong has played in all 16 rounds of action this season and averages 78.1 strokes.
- Junior Steve Zychowski (Mendham, N.J.) led the team for the third-straight event this past weekend. He has record six top-team finishes overall out of seven events and boasts a team-best stoke average, 74.8.
