- The Holy Cross men's golf team will take the next week to prepare for the 2011 Patriot League Golf Championship, held on Saturday-Sunday, April 30-May 1. The championship will be held in Annapolis, Md. at the United States Naval Academy's Golf Club. The format is a two-day, 54-hole tournament, with 36 holes of play on Saturday and 18 holes scheduled for Sunday.
- The Crusaders finished seventh at last year's championship and were led by sophomore Steve Zychowski's (Mendham, N.J.) three-round score 224, which placed him in a tie for fourth place. Fellow sophomore Michael McCarthy (Tolland, Mass.) tied for 10th as both players earned All-Patriot League accolades for their top finishes. Lafayette won the 2010 Patriot League title, coming into the tournament having not finished in the top four of the Patriot League Championship since 2003.
- Zychowski shot a team-low 75 in the dual-match with Boston College on Saturday as the squad fell by only nine strokes to the Eagles. Zychowski has now led the team in five matches on the season, including three this spring.
