Crusaders To Play Boston College on Friday

- The Holy Cross men's golf team plays in one final match before competing in the 2011 Patriot League Championship, matching up head-to-head with Boston College on Friday, April 15. The match will be played at the Concord Country Club in Concord, Mass. with a time to be determined.
- Boston College becomes the newest competitor in head-to-head competition as the team has gone against St. Anselm in the last four seasons. The two teams both competed in this past weekend's New England Division I Championship with the Eagles taking sixth place. The team's also played in the Classic at Shelter Harbor during the fall portion of the season. The Eagles finished just one spot ahead of the Crusaders, taking 14th.
- Sophomore Roberto Machado (Miami, Fla.) notched a career-low round of 74 in this past weekend's tournament. His previous low-round was a 76 posted at the George Washington Invitational earlier this spring. He led the team for the second time this season as well, tying for 16th place. On the year, Machado has played in 11 rounds and averages 78.2 strokes per round.
