WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Colin Andrade (Assonet, Mass.) has been named to the NEIGA Division I All-New England Team, announced by the NEIGA, after placing within the top-10 at the 2010 NEIGA Division I Championship. Andrade receives the award for the first time in his career.
Andrade tallied his first top-10 performance of the season, leading the team individually for the second time after collecting a two-round score of 144, marking two season-low rounds of 72 at the NEIGA Championship. He tied with Rhode Island's John Kelly, helping Holy Cross to a fourth place finish out of 37 squads.
Also named to the Division I All-New England Team were Connecticut's Adam Vaccari and Jeb Buchanan, Rhode Island's Kelly and Taylor Fontaine and Central Connecticut's Kevin Josephson.
Holy Cross completed its fall schedule at the 2010 NEIGA Championship and will announce the spring slate at a later date.
