WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr. and head men's golf coach Bob Molt have announced the Crusaders' 2010 spring slate. Holy Cross is currently scheduled to compete in five events.
The Crusaders will officially open the season at the George Washington Invitational, held at the Bear Trap Dunes Country Club in Bethany Beach, Del. The Yale Spring Invitational follows from Friday-Saturday, April 2-3, at the Yale Golf Club in New Haven, Conn. Holy Cross will play against two teams at the Lou Flumere Invitational, held on April 7 in Stow, Mass. The men will also compete in two spring championships as the New England District I Championship will be held first in Providence, R.I. on April 10-11. The 2010 Patriot League Championship, hosted by Colgate, will be held at the Seven Oaks Golf Club in Hamilton, N.Y. from April 24-25, wrapping up the 2010 spring schedule.
Holy Cross completed the 2009 spring season by placing seventh at the Patriot League Championship, held at the West Point Golf Course in West Point, N.Y. The team finished the tournament with a three-round total of 952 strokes.
