WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross senior quarterback Dominic Randolph (Amelia, Ohio) has been named the ECAC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Saturday's 41-34 victory over Brown at Fitton Field. Earlier this week, Randolph earned Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week honors, while being selected as the National Offensive Player of the Week by the Sports Network.
In the Brown game, Randolph connected on 41 of 54 attempts for a season-high 430 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions, in addition to rushing for 11 yards. Randolph's 41 completions tied the Holy Cross single-game record (which he had set himself just a week ago at Yale), while his 430 passing yards and 441 yards of total offense were both the fourth-highest single game totals in school history. In addition, Randolph became the first player in Holy Cross history to have three career games with at least 400 yards passing.
On the season, Randolph has now completed 162 of 252 passes for 1,574 yards and 14 touchdowns with six interceptions. He currently leads the nation in completions, while standing second in passing yards and third in yards of total offense. Over the course of his career as a Crusader, Randolph has hit on 643 of 1,033 attempts for 7,415 yards and 63 touchdowns. He ranks third all-time at Holy Cross in touchdown passes, passing yards, completions and yards of total offense.
Holy Cross (2-3 overall, 1-0 Patriot League) returns to action this Saturday, Oct. 18, when it travels to Dartmouth (0-4 overall, 0-2 Ivy League) for a 12:30 p.m. game.
