Mike Barry is in his third season as a student assistant working with the Crusader football coaching staff in 2013. He assisted with the tight ends during the 2011 season, and with the wide receivers and special teams during the 2012 campaign. A history major who was named to the Holy Cross Dean's List in 2011, Barry is also an assistant video coordinator.

During the summer of 2012, Barry worked as a football operations intern at Boston College. He has also been inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta National Honor Society at Holy Cross.

Barry is a graduate of Franklin (Mass.) High School, where he was a member of National Honor Society. He played on the football team, in addition to throwing the javelin for the track and field team. An Eagle Scout, Barry received a scholarship from the Holy Cross Club of Boston in 2010.

Born in Providence, R.I., he is the son of Michael and Edith Barry. He has a sister, Meaghan, who graduated from Holy Cross in 2012, and his grandfather was a center on the Holy Cross football team.
