Dakota Allosso is in his second season on Tom Gilmore’s coaching staff in 2012, and his first year as the outside linebackers coach. He served as the assistant secondary coach during the 2011 campaign, working with a Holy Cross defensive backfield which included two All-Patriot League selections in Chandler Fenner and Tom Mannix.

Previously, Allosso spent six months as the wide receivers coach at West Virginia Wesleyan College in the spring of 2011.

Allosso graduated from Holy Cross in December of 2010 with a degree in history and political science. During his days as an undergraduate, Allosso was a member of the Holy Cross football team from 2006-2010 as a defensive back.

Following the 2010 campaign, he received the Connor Award as the Holy Cross senior who was the person the players are most proud of as a teammate, in a vote of the varsity squad. Allosso previously took home the team’s Unsung Hero Award in 2009, as the player who supported the squad spiritually, emotionally and physically for the good of the team.
