High School:
• Played for head coach Steve Specht at St. Xavier High School.
• Team won the Greater Catholic League South championship and the city championship in 2009, while finishing as a regional semifinalist.
• Also lettered in track and field, throwing the shot put and the discus.
• Helped lead the track and field team to a district championship.

PERSONAL:
• Son of Mark and Ginny Schnieber.
• Has two brothers (Matt and Tim) and one sister (Sarah).
• Sister, Sarah, was a member of the swimming team at Duquesne.
• Has not yet declared a major.
