HIGH SCHOOL:
• Played for head coach Don Byrd at Alamo Heights High School.
• Served as team captain during his senior season.
• Earned first team All-District honors as a senior, in addition to being named the district’s offensive MVP.
• Selected first team Academic All-State in 2010.
• Completed 180 of 293 passes for 2,467 yards and 28 touchdowns as a senior, while rushing for 278 yards on 86 carries.
• Hit on 203 of 331 passes for 2,735 yards during his high school career, with 32 touchdowns and just three interceptions.
• Also lettered in basketball, earning second team All-District honors.
• Member of National Honor Society.

PERSONAL:
• Son of Steve and Allison Elder.
• Has two brothers (James and Quentin) and one sister (Allison).
• Has not yet declared a major.
