
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2011:
• Did not see any varsity action.
HIGH SCHOOL:
• Played for head coach Brian Brown at Concordia Academy.
• Earned first team All-State honors as a senior, after being
an honorable mention All-State selection as a junior.
• A two-time first team All-Conference selection.
• Led the state of Minnesota with 1,160 receiving yards as a
senior, in addition to totaling 59 catches and 13 touchdowns.
• Finished his high school career with 114 receptions for
1,916 yards and 21 touchdowns.
• Also lettered in basketball, twice earning first team
All-Conference honors.
• Served as team captain during his senior season.
PERSONAL:
• Son of Keith and Mary Taylor.
• Has three brothers (Andre, Julius and Aaron).
• Father ran track at Lawrence University.
• Brother, Aaron Stecker, played football at Western Illinois
University and in the National Football League for 10 seasons.
• Brother, Andre Taylor, is a junior defensive end on the
football team at the University of St. Thomas.
• Brother, Julius Stecker, played basketball at Wisconsin-Fox
Valley.
• Has not yet declared a major.
