
2012 TEAM CAPTAIN
AS A JUNIOR IN 2011:
• Played in all 11 games at wide receiver, starting five
times.
• Named first team All-Patriot League.
• Led the team with 60 receptions for 723 yards and six
touchdowns.
• Ranked third in the Patriot League in both receptions and
receiving yards, and stood seventh in all-purpose yards.
• Finished the season ranked 32nd in the nation in receptions
and 51st in receiving yards.
• Registered a season-best 12 catches for 103 yards and a
touchdown during the victory over Dartmouth, to tie for fifth on
the all-time school single-game list for receptions.
• Caught six passes for a season-high 136 yards and a score at
New Hampshire, while returning two kickoffs for 35 yards.
• Made eight receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown at
Brown.
• Posted six catches for 84 yards and a score in the win over
Lafayette.
• Caught six passes for 58 yards and a touchdown in the win at
Bucknell.
• Had six receptions for 58 yards against Georgetown.
• Also made 13 special teams tackles on the season.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2010:
• Saw action in all 11 games at wide receiver, starting three
times.
• Caught 29 passes for 374 yards and three touchdowns on the
season.
• Rushed eight times for 56 yards and a score, and returned
two kickoffs for 15 yards.
• Ranked 16th in the Patriot League in receiving yards, 18th
in receptions and 20th in scoring.
• Had five catches for a season-best 84 yards in the victory
over Brown.
• Finished with five receptions for 82 yards in the win over
Fordham.
• Caught four passes for 48 yards in the victory at
Colgate.
• Had four receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown at
Dartmouth, in addition to returning two kickoffs for 15 yards.
• Made four catches for 31 yards and a score at
Georgetown.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009:
• Played in all 12 games at wide receiver, starting five
times.
• Caught five passes for 131 yards and a touchdown on the
season.
• Had a 45-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter of
the victory over Harvard.
• Also caught passes against Bucknell, Lafayette, Northeastern
and Villanova.
HIGH SCHOOL:
• Played for head coach Joe DeSiena at Xaverian High
School.
• Served as team captain during his senior year, when he was
also named team Most Valuable Player.
• Caught 63 passes for 1,105 yards and 14 touchdowns during
his senior season.
• Finished his career with 96 receptions for 1,510 yards and
20 scores.
• Also made 108 career tackles and intercepted five passes on
defense.
• Twice named All-Catholic High School Football League.
• Earned first team All-City and fourth team All-State honors
as a senior.
• Member of National Honor Society.
PERSONAL:
• Son of Gerald and Susan Mistretta.
• Has one brother (Richard) and one sister (Francesca).
• Majoring in Economics.
